Christine Comyn - Artist

Christine Comyn studied at the Saint Luke Academy in Belgium where her artistic talents were refined, talents and artistic abilities that were clearly demonstrated from a young age. Between 1978-1983 she worked for a book publishing company as an illustrator. Christine Camyn then went on to work as an instructor at the Academy of Modern Art in Tielt in 1981 at the age of 24. She held this position for 16 years. 1983 was the year that saw Christine Comyn mastering the technique of watercolour. Her first solo watercolour exhibition was an overwhelming success and the entire collection of watercolours was sold. Christine Comyn truly earned her recognicion after creatively abandoning her figurative style and creating a more abstract and figure painting body of work.
