Cyril Croucher - Artist

Cyril Croucher was inspired by his grandmother's spellbinding tales, a merge of reality and fantasy from very early on in his life. Evidence of this influence is apparent in much of his early work and traces can be noted in his work to date. The muted green, pink, gray and blue tones of granite featured in the local architecture and lanscape which inspire him are painted onto board using acylic, a distinctive palette. Cryril Croucher's shadowy figures, dark passageways and entrances are intriguing and his work has a timeless quality to it.
