Dave Foord - Artist

Dave Foord was born in Haverfordwest and is a self taught artist. He had never painted before the year 2000 and it took him approximately six months to work his way into motor sport which is clearly where his passion and talent lies. On his artistic journey to motor sport be painted a number of varied subjects including, elephants, tigers, spitfire aircraft, cheetahs and David Beckham. It was after the purchase of his first airbrush and many months of practising on Formula One subjects that Dave Foord turned his attention to his childhood love, motorbikes. He began travelling in search of his subjects from Moto GP to Super bikes, two years on from this his first picture was published entitled 'The Future's Bright'. Dave Foord has an obvious artistic talent to portray the speed and atmosphere of motor sport events with a photo realistic quality to them.
