Govinder Nazran - Artist

Between 1980-1983 Govinder Nazran studied Graphic Design in Bradford, he then went on to specialise in illustration within his Higher Diploma in Graphic Design course at Lincoln Art College. After completion of his course he moved to London where he could promote his portfolio to all the major London City publishing houses. He worked in London for six months illustrating children's books and then relocated to Cambridge where he continued to work as a freelance illustrator. He worked for a greetings card publisher as a designer which involved development and product design. Nazran then went onto follow a career in art direction, travelling the world on various photographic fashion shoots. It was his decision to change his hectic lifestyle as a photographic art director to a more tranquill life back in his home town of Saltaire in West Yorkshire, where he worked freelance for major publishing companies on card designs. Nazran joined the Fine Art market in 1999 and has had much of his vast body of work published.
