Graham Isom - Artist

Graham Isom was born in 1945 in Kent and has always had a passion for horses. His father had a riding school and Graham Isom grew up with horses. He started off teaching in Dorset but was able to give this up in a short space of time due to an overwhelming increase in private commissions. He specialised in figure studies for two years and was devoted to his life of painting. From 1990 to 1993 he was accepted into the 'American Academy of Equine Art' and the 'Society of Equine Artists'. Also in 1993 he received three awards for 'Most Popular Picture', Best Racing Picture' and 'Best Sporting Picture' from the American Academy of Equine Artists. Graham Isom exhibits his work both in the UK and abroad and his work is highly sought after by collectors.
