Grant Searl - Artist

Grant Searl was born in 1962 in Southport. He studied at the Preston Polytechnic and has always had an interest in unconventional and bizarre things. These interests, from the beginning have influenced his artwork. He admires the styles of Dali and Magritte and these styles are visible in Grant Searl's distinctive, inventive oil and acrylic paintings. The element of subversion appeals to him as well as aesthetic attraction.
