Jim Warren - Artist

Jim Warren was born in 1949 in Long beach, California. He started painting at a very young age and it was his dream to become 'Rich and Famous' artist. He is basically a self taught artist although did learn some of the basics at High School, he also attended life drawing classes and studied the work of the Great Masters through visiting museums. His preferred medium is oil on canvas which is then coated with a gesso primer. He paints with traditional brushes and doesn't use an airbrush as many people have thought. His philosophy of Art is "To hell with the rules....paint what you like".
