Joan Somerville - Artist
Joan Somerville works from her attic studio on the outskirts of Glasgow. She chose to work for her local government although given the opportunity to study at the Glasgow School of Art. She has been working professionally as an artist for the last four years. Her larger than life, slightly caricatured images bring joy to the viewer. She has the ability to capture expression, the perfect moment largely due to the fact she loves to meet and chat to passers by.
