Joanne and Michael Cole - Artist
Joanne and Michael Cole are known for their cartoon creation 'Bod'. Bod was created in the early 1960's originally for their two children. Bod emerged in book form originally then went on to have his own TV series in the 1970's. He became one of the favourite children's TV characters of this time. The BBC screened thirteen original Bod films in 1974. Micheal Cole was responsible for the witty and deceptively simple storylines and it was Joanne who created the iconic and dreamy artwork.
