John Bond - Artist

Born in 1945, John Bord attended the Norwich School of Art and following that the Central School of Art in London. The general focus of John Bond's paintings are his use of figures, still and solitary they work together to add the narrative. Scenes of field, marsh, woodland, shore and fen are painted in oil with atmospheric quality. John Bord's ability to reflect the warmth of the sun, the bite of Winter and the warm hues of Autumn have gained him recognition within the art world. John Bond occasionally exhibits his work in one man shows and all are invariably sell outs. His work portrays a respect for country life and an underlying response to the seasons.
