John Mould - Artist

John Mould was born in Barlaston, Staffordshire in 1958. As a young child he had a deep rooted fascination with animals which led on to inspire him to start drawing and painting wildlife. Through his wildlife paintings, John Mould strived for accuracy. His artist career started with commissions to paint pets. By the age of nineteen he started to produce artwork for major companies such as Gordon Frazer, Coalport, Wedgwood and Spink. It was also at this time that he became self employed. In addition to painting John Mould was also a sculptor, creating wildlife sculptures for Waterford Aynsley.
