Keith Fulford - Artist

Keith Fulford was born in 1962 in London. Although he had a passion for art from an early age, he entered into what one would call a "safe" career. He felt unfulfilled and decided to embark on an artistic course. He studied for and gained both a diploma and a degree. He then achieved an MA in Art and Design within which he specialised in drawing. This was an intense learning period for Keith Fulford, during this time he worked in design related fields and gained professional experience. He then decided to devote himself to becoming a professional artist specialising in fine art. Keith Fulford is influenced by cinematic imagery and an affection for city life and his paintings portray the drama, atmosphere and animation of a city night with such panache and accuracy. He has taken on many private commissions over the years as well as exhibited at a number of prestigious galleries and events across the UK. Keith Fulford states, "The city has two conflicting sides to its personality reflective and mysterious on the one hand, but bold and theatrical on the other. I love to take this intriguing duality and find within it the grain of an idea that will both engage and uplift people."
