Lionel Aggett - Artist

Lionel Aggett was born in Devon and went on to study at the Kington School of Art and Architecture. He embarked on a career in architecture and has received six awards for his architectural work both in private practise and for the local government. The Royal Institute of British Artists elected him a member in 1967. It was in 1991 he decided to abandon architecture for a full time career in painting. He has been exhibiting his works for over 25 years throughout the UK and had also written a number of books.
