Malcolm Coward - Artist

Malcolm Coward lives his life for his animals and painting. Born in Malton, West Yorkshire he has gained recognition Internationally as being one of the UK's leading equestrian painters. He has been awarded the President's medal by the Society of Equestrian Artists in London and has had his work accepted by the Royal Institute of Oil Painters, Royal Society of Marine Artists and the Royal Birmingham Society. Malcolm Coward's painting of Andalusian Summer was one of twenty selected from artists all over Europe to be exhibited at the Cadre Noir in France as part of a major equestrian exhibition. Malcolm Coward has over the years exhibited all over the world from Tokyo to Paris, Jerez in Spain, Italy and America. He has published many limited edition prints which are now considered collectors items. Malcolm Coward's sporting paintings have been featured on television and he has held many very sucessful one man exhibitions. Much of Malcoms time is spent travelling where he can indulge his passion for watching horses and painting. His wonderful use of colour, his eye for anatomy, his ability to recreate colour and light on canvas and his ability to paint animals in motion have all contributed to his work being Internationally recognised.
