Malcolm Teasdale - Artist

Malcom Teasdale was born in Newcastle in 1944. The North East of England are where his roots lie, an area defined by its industrial history. Malcolm Teasdale has lived and worked the majority of his life close to the city , although for the past twenty years has lived in Northumberland in a small market town. In his earlier years Malcolm Teasdale embarked on a teaching career and his interest in art at this time took up the majority of his spare time. An intergral part of his life has always been his passion for painting. Malcolm Teasdale continues to devote all his spare time to painting and recently has occupied three galleries in the North East of England. His solo exhibition entitles 'A Glimpse of the Great North' was televised by the BBC and he continues to exhibit regularly and host one man shows across the UK.
