Mark Preston - Artist

Mark Preston was born in 1976 in Derby. He attended Anglia University in Cambridge to study illustration. After graduating from University, Mark Preston decided he wanted to pursue a career in landscape painting rather than in illustration. His impact on the contemporary art scene has been sensational. His work is inspired by his frequent visits to Cornwall, interior scenes and coastal areas. He also paints figurative studies and these works are highly sought after. Mark Preston has also had three very successful solo exhibitions in Derbyshire.
