Nancy Wood - Artist

Nancy Wood was born in London in 1961 and from an early age enjoyed painting and drawing. In her early school years Nancy Wood discovered her talent for portraiture and began to sketch her friends and family members. She embarked on a successful career in Industry despite her obvious artistic talent. Throughout her career in Industry Nancy Wood continued to spend the majority of her free time painting in watercolour. Her paintings were very popular with her family, friends and colleagues and it was in 1996 that she made the step to full time career in painting. Nancy Wood has had many successful solo exhibitions in the UK, USA and Europe. Her original paintings are featured in many UK galleries and she has quickly established herself and subsequently gained a wide and enthusiatic audience.
