Nigel Hemming - Artist

Nigel Hemmings endless inspiration for his work has been the relationship between man and dog. Born in Staffordshire in 1957, Nigel Hemming has always been facinated by ornithological subjects, his name has been recognised through his paintings of dogs, particularly the working breeds. Nigel Hemmings career has been well documented through his transition of art mediums from watercolour, pastel, acrylic and lastly oils. Since the mid 1980's Nigel Hemmings works has been published in limited edition prints, each new edition gaining more popularity. There is a particular demand in North America for his limited edition prints as well as high demand in the UK. The Fine Art Trade Guild awarded Nigel Hemming with the title Published Artist of the Year in 1996. Nigel Hemming is, without question, one of the UK's most successful animal artists.
