Paul James - Artist

Paul James is a self taught artist who was born and grew up in Leicestershire. His passion now is to paint landscapes and wildlife, in his earlier years whilst at art college most of his time was spent sketching and drawing cars at his local garage. In 1986 he turned professional and experimented with a variety of different subjects including Cattle, sheep, people portraits, birds of prey and landscapes. His landscape paintings proved very popular and he spent time developing a unique style. Paul James spent a lot of time on his boat touring the UK to promote and sell his work. Due to the high demand for his paintings he decided to move to Southen Ireland and take up residence with a workshop. Paul James intends to exhibit his new work later this year and is currently exploring the American Art Market.
