Peter Symonds - Artist

Peter Symonds was born in 1964, he graduated for Leicester University and began painting professionally aged 22. His last three solo exhibitions were sell outs within hours of opening. Following the publication of his work he has been able to reach a far wider audience. He admires and is inspired by the great traditional landscape painters of the late nineteenth and early twentieth Centuries. Inspired by their topographical accuracy, Peter Symonds continually develops his skills and techniques to create atmosphere and mood through the use of light and tones. He paints mainly landscapes including the rivers, mountains and coastal scenes of Britain.
