Rebecca Lardner - Artist
Born in Dorset in 1971, Rebecca started he artistic career by completeing a foundation course in art and then went on to graduate with a BA Honours degree in illustration from the University of Liverpool. She has enjoyed a highly sucessful career as an illustrator and artist undertaking commissions for a range of record sleeves and magazines as well as from high profile clients including Paul McCartney's Music Academy. Rebecca Lardner's palette encorporates the strong colours of the sea which dominate the canvas. Boats, sea birds and figures create the impression of constant activity heightened by movement and energy provided by the English harbours natural curves. Rebecca Lardner has undertaken prestigious corporate commissions, travelling the world from India to Ireland. Her talent has led her to exhibit in a number of prestigious UK , European and American galleries and her oil paintings are bought by collectors all over the world.
