Robert Cook - Artist

Robert Cook is a self taught artist, born in 1948. He paints in acrylic on textured canvas with layered glazing which can be mistaken for oils.The embellishing and hand painting is a technique unique to Robert Cook. It is said of his landscape paintings that they have a calming effect on people. Impressions of melancholy, lonesomeness, evening and morning moods are portrayed in his paintings. Robert Cook has been painting professionally since 1989 and his work is featured in both corporate and private collections all over the world.
