Sarah Jane Walker - Artist

Born in Edinburgh, Sarah Jane Walker achieved a first class honours degree in textiles from the Manchester Metropolitan University. Her final year exhibition was a complete success and her paintings sold out. This boosted her confidence and enabled her to apply for high level jobs. Sarah Jane Walker continued her career in the textile industry and achevied the position of Design and Marketing Manager with a CAD company based in Yorkshire. Her choice of subject matter, the British landscape is interpreted in a contemporary way due to unique ability to portray shape and form. Her chosen medium is pastel, pencil and ink applied using a variety of tools and mixed with oil.
