Sonia Rollo - Artist

Sonia Rollo spent her childhood in Manchester, attended the University of Glasgow - graduating in 1968 with a degree. Sonia is a member of the Greenwich Printmakers Association and of the Printmakers Council and regularly exhibits in the UK since 1993. Her work has proved popular with the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition. During her childhood Sonia was surrounded by different animals including Hilary the pig, which she enjoyed rides on her back. Sonia also spent some time as the editor of a scientific journal and studied print making at Morley College. Halfmoon printmakers was formed with some of her fellow artists as a result of this interest.
