Spencer Hodge - Artist

Born in 1943, Spencer Hodge attended the Royal West of England Academy and the Hastings School of Art. He spent the following six years illustrating teaching material and books for the Medical Research Council, after a very academic and formal training and education in the arts. Spencer Hodge travels extensively taking field trips for organisations such as the World Wide Fund for Nature and other International conservation organisations. HRH The Duke of Edinburgh and HRH Prince Rainier are amongst Spencer Hodge's many admirers and has acquired an undisputed reputation of one of this century's finest wildlife artists. Over 40 of his prints have been published as limited editions and his work is exhibited throughout Europe and America.
