Susan Crawford - Artist

Susan Crawford is a self taught painter although spent two years at Signorini Nera Simi, the Florentine drawing school. The inspiration for her paintings is drawn from the works of Sir Alfred Munnings and George Stubbs, the very classical horse painters. Susan Crawford has hosted many exhibition both in the UK and abroad, including the Tryon Gallery, the National Portrait Gallery and the National Malaysian Gallery of Pahang Pinang. Twenty one of the all time favourite steeple chasers and derby winners such as Desert Orchid and Red Rum have also been painted by Susan Crawford. One of her major commissions has been to paint five members of the British Royal family as well as HM The Sultan of Oman and HM The Sultan of Brunei.
