Terry Frost - Artist

Recognised as one of Britain’s most acclaimed artists on the 20th Century Sir Terry Frost RA was honoured in 1998 when he was granted a Knighthood. Sir Terry Frost was born in 1915 and developed his artistic talent over the four years he was a Prisoner of War. After his return to England, studying at the Camberwell School of Arts and Crafts, he flourished in the scenes on London and St Ives. For Sir Terry Frost printing and painting are the same medium creating ideas from each other. Regrettably Sir Terry Frost died on the 1st September 2003.
