Willem De Beer - Artist

At the age of nine, Willem de Beer sold his first painting. He excelled in art classes at school and went onto graduate from the University of Pretoria. Willem De Beer embarked on a career as a commercial artist and in 1985 made the decision to become a full time professional artist. He has distinguished himself as a marine, landscape and portrait artist due to his background in commercial art. He has an extensive client list and has completed several commissions for Lord Montague of Beaulieu. Willem De Beer is a very successful artist with many of his limited edition prints being sold out. His original oil paintings command very high prices. He is a signature member of the Society of Animal Artists based in New York and his work hangs in private and corporate collections in England, the Netherlands, Taiwan and South Africa.
