Wolfgang Weber - Artist

Wolfgang Weber was born in Koblenz, Germany in 1936. He studied at an art school in Mainz. He was tutored by world famous Oskar Kokoschka the expressionist artist. Oskar Kokoschka had a profound influence on Wolfgang Weber's work as did wildlife artist Wilhelm Kuhnert. They both influenced the development of his unique style and have significantly impacted the style of his work. He conveys both the elusive beauty and strength of the animal kingdom through his use of imagery. The animals portrayed are given both vitality and freedom through his unusual frankness of style. His work is recognised and admired by wildlife art collectors all over the world.
