Adam Barsby - Sculpture

Born in Leicester in 1969, Adam Barsby started his art career by graduating in 1992 with a first class honours degree from the Kent Institute of Art and Design. Coastlines and oceans provide Adam Barsby with and endless source of inspiration, the romantic nature of these sources being of particular interest.The art world has been taken by storm through his rich colours, provoking narratives and textures of him simplistically styles imagery. He was committed to painting by 1996 and held his first major exhibition in London at the Harrods Picture Library in 1998. Many prestigious galleries have exhibited his work and his launch of original silkscreen and limited edition prints have been particularly sucessful. Adam Barsby is an extreemly talented artist and has recieved many accolades and awards for his artistic efforts, 'Best Up and Coming Artist' in 1999 by the Fine Art Trade Guild and the John Solomon Trophy for the 1998 'Best Selling Artist' are to name just two.
